This could be said about many classics that most critics wouldn't dare touch. The story is dramatic, the cast is great (Liz does chew the scenery), the score and the cinematography are beautiful. Maybe not great but nowhere as near as bad as some of the criticisms would have you believe.William McGinnishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18253596230883412552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7185482420929995617.post-33734516919117020942020-02-11T02:39:28.616+11:002020-02-11T02:39:28.616+11:00I love anything with Elizabeth Taylor in itI love anything with Elizabeth Taylor in itAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00947903004239928730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7185482420929995617.post-92073142018864342112019-07-21T20:23:44.576+10:002019-07-21T20:23:44.576+10:00For me, it took a while, but eventually caught me ...For me, it took a while, but eventually caught me up in Suzanna's mystery.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10653255172425078767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7185482420929995617.post-13204159613126696872019-04-30T10:59:46.600+10:002019-04-30T10:59:46.600+10:00I originally saw this movie at 10 yrs old in 1957....I originally saw this movie at 10 yrs old in 1957. It was a lovely movie with a wonderful cast. I have watched it several times over the years and always enjoyed it. Elizabeth Taylor did an amazing job, as always, and played off the one love she could never have Montgomery Cliff. They were in several movies together over the years but I think this is my favorite. I just found the DVD on ebay and purchased it and will watch and enjoy it again.sharronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14867857541933952536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7185482420929995617.post-57572499679567187302018-12-21T10:47:03.774+11:002018-12-21T10:47:03.774+11:00Interesting moments, but dull and pretentious.Interesting moments, but dull and pretentious.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7185482420929995617.post-47507530869858781882018-10-17T00:21:19.683+11:002018-10-17T00:21:19.683+11:00One of my favorites.
